I am poor, I live off about $70 a week for EVERYTHING, bills, food, rent, etc, and am vegan. I do have the privilege of being white and in an area that has staples but it seems you would also.We do not live off meat alternatives, contrary to stupid beliefs, and you being vegetarian for three years does not make you a nutritionist.
Meat does not provide you with more iron or protein than vegetables, nor does mock meat. A simple Google search would show you everything you need to know, but you’re really just looking for excuses, or you would have tried.We hear this shit every single day, so before you pull the “STAHP BEING SO PRETENTIOUS, GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE” shit, start using common sense and realize that we don’t think we’re better than you, we’d just like you to use your fucking brain or at least let someone educate you on how to do things properly.

this one time i was on the vegan tag to look at ideas for lunch since i am a vegetarian. anyway, i saw this one photo that was literally comparing animal cruelty to slavery. it was all like “200 hundred years ago, it was unheard of asking for rights of slaves and soon animals will have their rights just as the slaves received theirs” or something around those lines. no words.
Every group of people have their assholes, unfortunately vegans aren’t exempt.
